In many cases, we know the field, forest or greenhouse that is the source of our ingredients. Fresh, pastured, chickens (whole and parted), fed with organic supplementary food, Cornish game hens, poussin, quail, and turkey, and value-added products. Our chickens and turkeys are raised on our chemical-and-insecticide-free pastures May to November and processed in our farm’s licensed facility. Offering fresh pastured, non-GMO chicken eggs year-round. All supplemental feed is free of antibiotics, animal fats, and hormones.

And Idealic location for beekeeping, Our bees are able to gather nectar from many very old orchards on our end of the island and share there honey with us.

We raise pigs in the woods and specialize in a rare heritage breed called Mulefoot. We carry all of the usual retail cuts of pork (plus a few others) and new for 2021 we will have salami. Roaster pigs, and Whole or Half hogs are available to order.  We also pasture raise chickens for meat and eggs, a few Thanksgiving Day turkeys and we grow veggies without the use of chemicals. We also have fresh eggs, low sugar Jam made from locally grown organic berries, and baked goods made from as many local and organic ingredients as possible and lard soap. Our Balsam Wreaths are shipped throughout the U.S or picked up locally for the holidays.

Frontier Sugarworks


We make MOFGA-certified organic maple syrup, bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, maple sugar, and maple candies. We also make and sell maple glazed nuts and granola for market. We specialize in glass gift bottles with whimsical labels and half-gallon and gallon growlers for maple enthusiasts.

We collect food and yard waste from midcoast residents and businesses, process them into nutrient-rich, beneficial compost, and return or sell the finished product locally.
